Parallel painting with friends

I love watching kids parallel play and have been doing something similar with my own friends for years. I have close friends with whom I get together to eat snacks, catch up, and paint. We bring whatever watercolors, paper, and brushes we have collected over the years, sit on the floor, and talk and paint for hours.
